1. Excellence is a habit.
If excellence is a habit, idleness is a habit, too. Everything is decided by acquired habits except the temper, which is decided by the human nature. 4. You will know how to pick up your speed under knowing how to stop.
You must think it is easy to do when you look at others skiing. But in fact you were not skiing but rolling down and made many blunders when you were skiing. Finally you learned how to ski and stop after practicing again and again on the snow and slopes. After that you dare to toe down the hill, because you can stop as long as you want. So only know you how to pick up your speed under knowing how to stop.
5. Abandonment is intelligence, and lacking is an indulgence.
When you have six apples, you should not eat all of them, but give five of them to others. The reason is that if you eat all of them, you just get six apples, but if you give them to five persons, you will gain their friendship and goodwill. When they have fruits, they will share with you. You can gain not only five different fruits, but their friendship, so abandonment is intelligence. |
